I spent a lovely World Book Day afternoon at Llanbedr CiW School near Crickhowell. Thank you to Mrs Davies for inviting me, and to all the children and staff for making me so welcome.
What fantastic World Book Day costumes the children wore to school! Later some of the class dressed up as Emyr Rhys & Da-cu to pretend to make Welsh cakes and as Emyr Rhys’s grandmother, Nain, too. Well done to all the actors and narrators!
And thank you for a taste of your lovely real Welsh cakes with chocolate chips – yum yum!
Mrs Davies said, “Thank you very much for a fantastic day yesterday. The children are still talking about your visit today.”
